Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how IntelliWriter ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the IntelliType mobile application (Android package io.intellitype.intellitype), related services, and this website.

1. Who we are
IntelliType is an AI-powered keyboard and writing companion operated by IntelliWriter. For privacy questions, contact intellitypeinfo@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use IntelliType, we may collect: • Account information: email address, display name, password hash (if you register with email), and Google account identifiers if you sign in with Google. • Subscription and purchase data: product identifiers, purchase tokens, and subscription status from Google Play Billing (and Apple In-App Purchase where applicable). Payment card details are processed by the store platforms - we do not store your full card number. • AI feature content: text you deliberately submit to features such as grammar fix, rephrase, tone change, translate, Ask AI, and custom assistants. • Usage metrics: counts of AI actions per day for free-tier limits and product improvement. • App settings: preferences you choose in Settings, theme, account, and app settings. • Support content: messages and account deletion requests you submit through the app or website. • Device and technical data basic device/app identifiers needed to operate sign-in, billing verification, crash diagnosis, and security.
3. Keyboard access and what we do not collect
IntelliType can be enabled as a system keyboard (input method). When you type in other apps, the keyboard processes text locally on your device to show keys, suggestions, and on-device features. • We do not sell your keystrokes. • We do not upload everything you type in other apps as a continuous keystroke log. • Text is sent to our servers only when you use an AI or cloud feature that requires it. • Clipboard history shown in the keyboard is stored on your device for that feature and is not uploaded to our servers as a cloud clipboard archive. • GIF search may send your search query to our GIF provider to return results.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the app, keyboard, AI writing tools, themes, and sync; authenticate you and secure your account; process Premium subscriptions and enforce free-tier usage limits; respond to support and account deletion requests; detect abuse, fraud, and technical issues; and comply with legal obligations.
5. AI processing and third-party services
To power AI features, we use infrastructure and AI model providers that process the text you submit for that request. We also use Google for Sign-In and Google Play Billing, and may use GIF providers for keyboard GIF search. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies, limited to what is needed to deliver the feature.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only with service providers that help us host, process AI requests, authenticate, bill, or support the product; with store platforms as required for purchases and subscription status; when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, with notice where required.
7. Data retention
We keep account and settings data while your account is active. AI request content is processed to fulfill the feature and may be retained temporarily in logs for security, abuse prevention, and quality for a limited period. Support tickets and deletion requests are retained as needed to complete the request and keep business records.
8. Your rights and account deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. You can request account and data deletion on our Delete Account page, by emailing intellitypeinfo@gmail.com, or from within the app when the option is available.
9. Children
IntelliType is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. International transfers
We may process and store information on servers located in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
